It is here and ready! I’m very excited about the new stamp I developed. I call it “Vintage Thimble”. It replaces the old thimble stamp. The new stamp is taller and slightly wider than the old one.
Jo Morton sent me a picture of this particular design last year. It was originally made as a child’s quilt in the 1880’s. I made my quilt sample a charm quilt with 210 different pieces of fabric.
The stamp will fit on those new 2 1/2″ charm squares that you can purchase at your local quilt shop. A great portable project.
I customized my quilt by cutting out little wool “spools” for the border. Then I used perle cotton embroidery to “thread” the spools together. (Spool design is included.)
