After its appearance in Pigeon Forge and winning a second place ribbon, my “Wilderness Walk” pattern is back on my website for sale. A lot of people have been asking me to reprint patterns and bring back some of my old stamps that have been discontinued. I thought I’d start with one of my favorite quilts, “Wilderness Walk.”
My version was hand pieced and hand embroidered. It was expertly machine quilted by Maggi Honeyman in Texas.
This quilt was designed for the 2010 “Handwork in the Smokies” seminar. I used lots of Jo Morton scraps and my Mariner’s Compass stamp set. For the border, I hand embroidered the vine and leaves and used the Sunflower stamp set.
Of course, I’ve included templates for those of you that do not have or do not want to purchase the stamps. Detailed instructions are included to make this 60″ x 80″ beauty.
Now you can make your own “Wilderness Walk”. Order your pattern today!
