I do love using my Imagine Crafts craft mat as a base for my stamping. It holds your fabric and gives a little bounce when stamping. It cleans up easily. (I’ve even washed mine in a sink and then hung it on a pants hanger to dry.)
You can use either side.
I keep my craft mat in a pencil case along with my ink pads, refills and package of wet ones.
All my inking supplies will fit into a pencil case.
