I just finished teaching my very last Handwork in the Smokies seminar last week. “Poke Berry Baskets” was my most popular pattern, EVER! It is now available on my website to purchase.
I did use the Large Triangle Stamp, parts of the Sawtooth Star stamp set, and Basket Set for the piecing. You can purchase those stamps on the website or use the templates included in the pattern. Embroidery design is included, of course, along with instructions on how to make this beauty!
I also wasted NO time to put together the “Aunt Hattie’s Hexagon” connector stamp. This stamp will connect your Grandmother’s Flower Garden” pieces in a new way. This diamond stamp has lines to cut it down to make the triangle pieces to fit in the corners. A big thank you to Kadee that brought this wonderful idea to my attention.
Lastly, the “Honeycomb Stars” stamp set is going away soon. It is available while supplies last. If this was on your “wish list” don’t be disappointed and order your set today.
This quilt was featured in the June 2010 issue of American Patchwork & Quilting.
Until next time,
Happy Hand Stitching!
