Beautiful Quilts

I have a very special hand piecing group that I attend when I’m in town.   We have such a good time doing handwork while we swap stories of family and adventures.  The hours fly by about as fast as our fingers fly!

I had asked one of our members, Cathy Witt, to bring her pointed tile quilt she was working on.  I posted a small picture a few months back, but now it has grown!  She used the “Lucy Boston Patchwork of the Crosses” setting.

One of my dear friends from the UK sent me this picture of her spool quilt.  It is at a museum in London and will be there for 6 months at the “Festival of Quilts”.  Sue Watters is the owner of this fabulous quilt.

I’m ALWAYS amazed at what quilters do with my stamps!

I hope you all will have a Happy Stitching Day today!
