Hi everyone!
I must admit I didn’t think retirement would be this great! I’m working on quilts I’ve had on my bucket list for years. Thought I might show you one I just finished along with some information.
When my grand children were born I saved scraps from each quilt, costume and pillow I made for them. Over the each of their boxes has over run with scraps. It is time to put the scraps together to make a memory quilt for each of them.
My first quilt was hand pieced using the sugar loaf diamond and the sugar loaf large pyramid.

Amelia’s Memory Quilt
I did have it machine quilted by Cathy Witt. I just love the stipple pattern Cathy used. It didn’t take away from the hand piecing and looks wonderful. Thanks Cathy!

Some of you are wondering where to get your ink supplies and Dual Duty hand quilting thread (green spool). My friends at twistedsistersquiltshop.com will continue to carry the Versa Craft ink, my patterns and notions I love. No need to panic or worry you can’t get your supplies, especially for those of you that live far away from the convenience of a local quilt shop.
This website will be taken down in another month, so you will need to print off any patterns or tips you want for reference. The videos will remain on my “Cindy Blackberg” Facebook page. I’ll post there occasionally. You can also post your recent Cindy Blackberg projects on the “Stitching with Cindy Blackberg” Facebook page. You will need to ask permission to join, but you can see other people’s lovely projects posted there.
Hopefully our journey has been a good one. I’ve enjoyed it, for sure! Keep in touch with these groups or email me. (I don’t respond to Facebook messenger, so don’t special message me, please.)
Happy Stitching!
